"Concert of Four" brings together on stage four remarkable musical personalities from Slovenia, each with a rich, decades-long musical journey and a distinctive artistic voice. Their creative palette spans jazz, rock, and pop, through classical music, singer-songwriting, and set poetry, all the way to improvisation and sonic experimentation. What began as casual jamming of original compositions in concert backstages has evolved into a refined dialogue between four worlds that not only meet within a shared sonic landscape but enrich one another in the process. Woven into the project are the heartfelt folk sensibility of Rudi Bučar, the melodic sophistication of Vasko Atanasovski, the ethereal intimacy of Severa Gjurin, and the introspective lyricism of Dejan Lapanja. The newly conceived arrangements, created specifically for this ensemble, have captivated both audiences and critics from the very first performances.
