Gloria Rakovič, a 10-year-old girl from Selnica ob Dravi, has been attending the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Maribor for the fourth year. She began her musical journey at the age of seven, starting with the recorder in her first year, and for the past three years she has been enthusiastically playing the clarinet under the mentorship of Simon Kapun.

In 2023, she received a silver award at the 14th International World Open Music Competition. In December 2024, she won a gold award at the same competition. At the 54th Competition of Young Musicians of the Republic of Slovenia (TEMSIG), thanks to months of dedication and preparation, she achieved an outstanding success: first place in Slovenia – a gold award and a special recognition for the best performance of the compulsory piece.

With her dedication and sincere love for music, Gloria is living her dream.
