Anita Šunjić
The musical journey of Anita Šunjić, a singer-songwriter from Mostar, began in 1990 when, at the age of two, she spotted a children’s guitar in a shop window. She received her first real guitar three years later, followed by performances at school events and her first original songs in elementary school.
She began her professional career with the band Venus, performing at festivals and competitions for five years and presenting several original songs. After the group disbanded, she started her solo career in 2012 and gradually developed the idea of having her own studio. In 2015, she began working in music production and set up a home studio, where she started creating new arrangements.
In 2017, she released her first single "Korak naprijed" (as part of the Domaće note BHRT project), followed by "Put bez laži", and in 2018, "Sretna na dan", with which she won a competition in Sarajevo and recorded her first music video.
In 2018 and 2019, she performed at numerous singer-songwriter festivals in the region (Zagreb, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Ruše, Maribor, Sofia), won second place at the Takt festival in Serbia, and received second prize from the jury and first prize from the audience at Kantfest in Slovenia. She also released the single "Utjeha", for which she created the arrangement herself for the first time.
After a short break, she released her fifth single "Ostavi trag" with a music video in 2022, and once again performed at the Takt festival, where her song "Nešto lijepo ostani" won first place awarded by the expert jury.
