Klasična in električna kitara
3rd Concert of the Youth Cycle 2025/2026
Igor Leonardi, guitar
Join Igor Leonardi—an outstanding musician, versatile artist, and music educator, as well as co-creator of the acclaimed TV show Muzikajeto, which received the 2011 Viktor Award for Best Youth Music Program—for a musical lesson on getting to know different instruments.
Leonardi studied jazz and classical guitar at the University of Music in Graz and traveled extensively through Asia and Africa, where he deepened his knowledge of world music and mastered various string instruments such as the Indian sitar, Arabic oud, Turkish saz, African hunter’s guitar dusn guni, and the 24-string kora harp. He has collaborated with renowned musicians from around the globe.
For our young audience, he has prepared a musical lesson on both classical and electric guitar. The first part focuses on the classical guitar, with pieces from the Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic, and Classical periods, as well as flamenco, country music, and Slovenian folk songs. The second part shifts to the electric guitar, showcasing blues, jazz, rock’n’roll, rock and its subgenres—right up to punk and heavy metal.
