ZveN – Zvezdana Novaković is a versatile music creator and performer. She moves seamlessly from ethno music to theatrical compositions and into experimental sound enriched with electronics. Over more than a decade, she has worked across so many fields and projects that it's difficult to list them all. Her scope ranges from theatre to concert stages, from the band Laibach to Svetlana Makarovič, from Bulgaria to Brazil, from ancient traditions to electronic soundscapes, from puppetry to Jernej Lorenci’s acclaimed performances, from classical to jazz, from teaching vocal techniques and studying composition to leading choirs, from national opera to underground clubs, from storytelling to the harp.

What ties all of this together is her voice – her ZveN.

Zven a.k.a. ZveN is Zvezdana’s solo sonic performance, composed of voice, harp, electronics, and composition. Everything is interwoven with authentic singing and harp, with which she builds soundscapes using electronic instruments – blending the ancient and the modern into a timeless song of the ancestors.
