Contemporary Aerial Circus

A performance that subtly and creatively explores aerial acrobatics while questioning the idea of shifting perspectives. It is a continuation of Etude for a Prepared Piano, the second part of the artist’s trilogy focusing on the intertwinement, connection, and mutual influence between the organic and the inorganic environment. Manipulation—and with it, (co)influence—shifts this time from the ropes to the body itself, which, through movement and with the help of a sensor attached to the body and an aerial rig, directly affects and alters the music in real time.
