What does the world look like through the eyes of a clown? Why do clowns have the magical power to make the whole universe laugh? And why can this actually be a very serious profession? You’ll have the chance to explore the answers to these — and perhaps other — questions yourself…

A short hands-on workshop that will take participants of all ages and performance experience into the world of physical and street theatre and clowning. It will be led by Justin Durel, one of the leaders of the theatre group Globus Hystericus. He gained experience in his native United States, but more importantly at the Helikos school in Italy, which follows the principles introduced to the clowning world by the legendary Jacques Lecoq.

The workshop is suitable for everyone aged 7 to 99. Sign up on site before the workshop begins.
