The Etno Histeria World Orchestra is an international project that has been bringing together top musicians from around the globe for 20 years. After an intensive week of mutual learning and creative collaboration in Slovenian Istria, the unique ensemble embarks on a tour, delivering five concerts that serve up a flavorful minestrone of songs from around the world—each spiced with the unique artistic touch of every participant.

This hundred-member orchestra, guided by a team of experienced mentors, plays without sheet music and uses improvisation to create ever-evolving dynamics. In a two-hour program, one hundred musicians interpret pieces that will take you on a journey from Latin America, through Istria, to Scandinavia, and onward to the Middle East.

The Etno Histeria World Orchestra is truly unique because the group disbands after the tour.
