At the workshop, we will first briefly introduce the participants to: • what is felting, • which felting techniques we know (wet, dry, combined), • the differences between wet and dry felting and when to use which technique. After the introductory part, we will conduct a short practical wet felting workshop, where participants will learn the basic process and create a simple piece from natural Slovenian sheep wool. How to do wet felting Wet felting is a traditional technique in which wool is bound together using water, soap and friction. Warm water opens the wool fibers, soap reduces friction, and hand movements intertwine the fibers and press them into a solid structure. Dates: 2.12, 9.12. and 16.12.2025
