Šalamon & Golob & Hrvatin
A trio of three outstanding Slovenian musicians, who will this time present new compositions by all three members of the ensemble. It is a blend of modern jazz intertwined with improvisation, odd rhythms, and catchy melodies. The exceptional Slovenian jazz guitarist Samo Šalamon, who has recorded more than 45 albums as a bandleader with artists such as Howard Levy, Donny McCaslin, Bob Moses, and many others, and one of Slovenia’s finest percussionists of the past 20 years, Andrej Hrvatin—longtime collaborators from the Ansasa Trio, which was active two decades ago—have now joined forces with one of the best and most sought-after Slovenian jazz bassists, Žiga Golob.
