If we don’t listen to our sadness, who do we become? And who do we become if we don’t listen at all? When was the last time you truly listened to someone… and when was the last time you truly listened to yourself, without judgment or prejudice?

In the new project Polnočno sonce (Midnight Sun), singer and creator Zvezdana Novaković ZveN has composed a musical reflection of the natural Arctic phenomenon in which the sun persistently shines across the night sky. The music of this project invites confrontation with one’s inner labyrinths, while also offering the hope that peace and light can be found even in the most hidden chambers of the human soul.

With Zvezdana’s vocals, a string quartet, and electronics, landscapes of warm light in the night and the timelessness of an endless twilight are drawn into sound.

The guest performance is produced in collaboration with Lutkovno gledališče Maribor and KČ Minoriti.
