Jadranka Juras kvartet
Jadranka Juras began her musical journey in the late 1990s with the group Planet Groove, further honed her skills at the Jazz Institute of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, collaborated with some of the most prominent Slovenian musicians, performed both at home and abroad, and in the past two decades has also devoted herself to opera singing.
Her latest original album Dva črna vrana (ZKP RTV Slovenija, 2025), written for her by the acclaimed jazz pianist Milan Stanisavljević, combines jazz, singer-songwriter sensitivity, and pop melodicism, enriched with thoughtful lyrics that subtly intertwine with the music. The album features renowned Slovenian jazz musicians, including the aforementioned pianist Milan Stanisavljević, Robert Jukič, Kristijan Krajnčan, Aleš Suša, as well as guest artists Saša Tabaković and Croatian jazz guitarist Elvis Penava.
