The exhibition explores the creative process of designing stage spaces and the invisible side of technical solutions, as seen and developed by the younger generation of architects working in scenography. While actors and directors are at the forefront in theatre, scenographers and technical creators work behind the scenes to co-create the essential spatial conditions in which stage stories come to life.

Through the works of eleven young architects, the exhibition reveals diverse approaches to understanding space, materiality, and stage dramaturgy, as well as the processes through which theatrical worlds are created. The featured creators work both in Slovenia and internationally, across dramatic and puppet theatre, opera, contemporary dance, and ballet. Their works demonstrate how the stage becomes a space for experimentation, adaptability, and exploration of the relationships between space, body, and story.

As part of the exhibition’s hosting, a discussion evening with invited scenographers will take place on Monday, 15 June 2026, at 18:30 in the foyer of the Kazinska Hall.
