Leopold I. is a rapper from Gornja Radgona who, in his lyrics, portrays the life of the common man. He draws back the curtains on the fluorescent facades of tidy rural homes and peers into the plates of seemingly perfect families after Sunday mass (Val 202). Leopold I. established himself on the Slovenian music scene in 2020 with a series of bold and socially engaged tracks, culminating in his debut album Dobro jütro in 2022.

On stage, he is usually accompanied by his band, Drügi, consisting of Karlo Petrović (drums), Filip Vadnu (guitar), Vid Turica (bass), and Žan Hauptman (keyboards, synth, vocals). The third essential member of the crew is sound engineer Andi Gal (Road Production).
