Nejc Pipp & Company

Nejc Pipp is a young-generation music artist from Škofja Loka who has already affirmed his artistic potential with two original albums. His debut Ulysses (2020) reveals an intimate and mature expression of a teenager confidently blending elements of dream pop, jazz, R&B, and hip-hop, shaped with remarkable production precision. Despite his youth, his musical language feels assured and refined, as if he had been creating for years. While influences of global artists can be recognized in his sound, it remains distinctly authorial and deeply marked by his personal worldview.

He made a stronger impact on the local music scene with the release of his second album Entropy (2024), which surpasses his already accomplished debut in terms of production. Pipp’s expression combines mysticism, subtlety, and romanticism, moving through a blend of lo-fi and soul-pop into intoxicating trip-hop textures with a pronounced emotional depth.

Music critics have praised the album, placing it alongside releases by comparable international artists, and describing Pipp as a raw gem who creates deep and sincere poetry—surprisingly mature for such a young artist.

Nejc also stands out for his slightly raspy, fragile yet confident voice, with which he navigates sonic landscapes shaped by a carefully selected and outstanding instrumental lineup.

His lyrics avoid worn-out romantic clichés. Instead, they speak of distance, absence, uncertainty, and subtle moments of closeness that often remain unspoken. It is the voice of a generation that experiences love differently—more dispersed and fragmented, yet no less intense.
