The discussion evening with invited set designers—architects by education—will open a conversation about the importance of scenography in performances, the work that takes place behind the scenes, and the role of space in performance concepts. The event will explore the relationship between space, architecture, and scenography as a response to social questions that arise both in performances and in reality. The speakers will also shed light on the background of scenographic creation as an essential part of the Borštnik Festival.

The round table takes place within the framework of the guest exhibition The Future Belongs to the Young: Young Architects in the Space of Stage Scenography, on view from 8 to 21 June 2026 in the foyer of the Kazina Hall.
