Guilty of Joy

Guilty of Joy are energetic grunge rockers from Kranj — a group of experienced musicians who live and breathe music and share a passion for creating and performing original songs. Their sound is a genre blend inspired by the 1990s (grunge, hard rock, blues, and more), enriched with catchy, melodic hooks and honest lyrics that reflect life experiences, emotions, and dreams.

Their performances are powerful, high-energy, and full of positive vibe and stage charisma. Following their excellent debut album Music Diary, they are now fully focused on new material. On March 8, they released a new single with a music video, Addicted to You, which is already playing on several radio stations (Rock Radio, Radio Si, R1 Rock, etc.), and this year they will also perform at the Gora Rocka festival.

Many believe the band deserves more recognition on the Slovenian music scene, as they rank among the strongest both in musical quality and live performance. Their success is also proven internationally through various competition wins. Their latest achievement was at the prestigious Vicenza Rock Contest 2025 in Italy, where they competed against more than a hundred acts and also received awards for best guitarist, bassist, and vocalist. Years of experience have given them a strong stage presence that leaves no audience indifferent.

Prismojeni profesorji bluesa are a Slovenian band playing blues, funk, R&B, and similar genres that evoke the spirit of the 1960s and 1970s. What does that mean in practice? A bit of food, plenty of drink, and a lot of broken hearts, broken drumsticks, blood-smeared strings, and shattered relationships — whether it’s a Friday or a holiday.

They can be found rolling through mud, sidewalks, and streets, kneeling and pleading just to be allowed to play a third concert in Ljubljana in the same week. Their requested fee? Just electricity and something spicy to snack on.

Legend even speaks of a supposed concert inside a can of sardines, though no witnesses (nor sardines) can now be found.
