Repetitor
Repetitor are one of the loudest and most recognizable bands on the Balkan garage rock / post-punk scene of the 21st century. With energetic albums and countless explosive live shows, they have built the status of a cult live act that has shaken stages across Europe and beyond.
The Belgrade garage rock / post-punk trio Repetitor is one of the most important bands in loud guitar-driven rock in the Balkans in the 21st century. They earned this reputation through four studio albums and countless high-energy concerts, which are arguably their strongest weapon. In addition to extensive touring across the Balkans, they have played multiple European tours and appeared at major festivals across Europe (Sziget, Exit, Pohoda, Rock for People, Fusion, Europavox, INmusic, etc.), and even performed in China.
Repetitor have developed a distinct sonic identity, blending energetic rock’n’roll, post-punk, and everything in between. Their sound crashes in like a wall of high-voltage noise — bursts of anger, fear, violence, pain, and tension. On one side is Boris, barely contained, psychotically slicing through his guitar, turning punk-shredded chords into storm-like, heavy riffs. On the other is the playful and bouncing Ana-Marija, who fuses with the bass to create a post-punk balm. Holding it all together is Milena behind the drums — a wild, untamed force, striking like judgment day.
Repetitor are a treat for anyone who loves authentic guitar expression and distorted sonic madness.
