On Sunday, May 24 2026, the first “Poljka in Polka” Folk Market will take place in the center of Cirkovce (the square by the statue of Vinko Koržet) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., marking the beginning of a new chapter in bringing the local community together.

WHAT’S ON THE AGENDA?

A folk market featuring numerous vendors offering homegrown produce, culinary delights, handmade crafts, and other local specialties, as well as presentations by local associations.

A Children’s Bazaar featuring children and students.

Flea Market, where visitors can sell, exchange, or give away used items.

Cuisine: Zala Pungeršič the winner of MasterChef Slovenia 2023 will prepare delicacies made from black soybeans and the Association of Rural Women and Girls of the Municipality of Kidričevo will provide cocktail tastings for all tastes.

Cultural profram: Performance by the folklore groups of the Cirkovce Cultural Society, who will showcase the rich folk tradition through dance and music. Concert by the Cirkovce Tambura Orchestra. Vesele Polanke singers
