Uriele vocal group

Uriele vocal group was formed in 2019, when three young singers from the Ptuj area joined forces for a single concert at the request of the conductor of their local tambura orchestra. Their desire to sing in harmony soon brought them together as a vocal trio, which today delights diverse audiences with its performances. Their singing is accompanied by guitar at all performances and concerts, and occasionally by piano and cajón. On larger stages, the trio is joined by a band.

They enjoy exploring various musical genres—from folk-pop rhythms, pop songs, and evergreen tunes to jazz, folk songs, and rock. They perform the songs in their own style, with their own arrangements and distinctive harmonies. The vocal group operates under the auspices of the Majšperk Cultural and Artistic Society.

Organizing concerts in the city park has a rich tradition dating back to 1890, and for more than three decades, the Maribor National Hall has continued this tradition. In addition to the social aspect, it has also added a community dimension, as it primarily offers amateur associations and music groups from the city and surrounding areas the opportunity to perform. Thus, a diverse and vibrant musical scene is provided by wind bands, choirs, chamber ensembles, vocal groups, folk singers and musicians, and folklore groups.

From May to September, promenade concerts—accompanied by pleasant encounters and intergenerational gatherings, as well as children’s play and laughter—draw many Maribor residents to this green urban oasis and enhance the experience for casual visitors to one of the most beautiful parks in this part of Europe.

For 2026, we are planning 13 concerts, which will take place every sunny Sunday at 10:30 a.m., and admission will be free.

The concerts in the park are supported by the City of Maribor.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.

The organizer reserves the right to change the program.
