The musical duo Teja Letonja Hajšek in Marko Zaletelj

Teja Letonja Hajšek is a singer, songwriter, vocal coach, music arranger, and producer. In 2009, the Municipality of Ptuj awarded her the title of Young Musician of the Year. For ten years, she was the soprano in the vocal quartet Vox Arsana, with whom she also performed alongside the New York Voices. In 2015, as a member of Vox Arsana, she recorded a studio album with the RTV Slovenia Big Band. To date, she has performed in numerous European countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Austria, Germany, France, etc.) and in the U.S., and has participated in various musical projects as a soloist, theater artist, member of vocal ensembles, and collaborator with various musicians, groups, and orchestras.

In recent years, she has primarily been creating original music under the stage name Theia Leto, arranging and producing for herself and other musicians. In 2025, she opened her boutique vocal school and creative and recording studio, Vokalni laboratorij LETO.

Marko Zaletelj is a guitarist who has been an active part of the Slovenian music scene for four decades. He made a name for himself as a studio musician and also spent some time performing and recording outside of Slovenia. He has participated in numerous musical projects and performed as a guitar accompanist for renowned Slovenian singers and vocalists, such as Lado Leskovar, Maja Keuc, Mia Žnidarič, Matevž Šalehar – Hamo, Maja Založnik, Dada Kladenik, Nika Perunović, and Ana Bezjak, as well as jazz vocalists. He also performs frequently as a solo guitarist, primarily with arrangements of jazz standards and folk music. He is one of the founding members of the Maribor Tote Big Band, and as a guest, he occasionally collaborates with other Slovenian big bands as well as on television and radio music programs. Over his long creative career, he has developed a distinctive musical style of his own.

Organizing concerts in the city park has a rich tradition dating back to 1890, and for more than three decades, the Maribor National Hall has continued this tradition. In addition to the social aspect, he has also added a community dimension, as these concerts primarily offer amateur societies and music groups from the city and surrounding areas the opportunity to perform. Thus, a diverse and vibrant musical scene is provided by wind bands, choirs, chamber ensembles, vocal groups, folk singers and musicians, and folklore groups.

From May to September, promenade concerts—accompanied by pleasant encounters and intergenerational gatherings, as well as children’s play and laughter—draw many Maribor residents to this green urban oasis and enhance the experience for casual visitors to one of the most beautiful parks in this part of Europe.

For 2026, we are planning 13 concerts, which will take place every sunny Sunday at 10:30 a.m., and admission will be free.
