Musical duo Zala Črešnik in Marko Zaletelj
Zala Črešnik is a singer making a name for herself on the Carinthian music scene as a performer of jazz, folk music, and original Slovenian songs. She collaborates with established Carinthian jazz musicians and is currently studying jazz vocals and jazz guitar.
Organizing concerts in the city park has a rich tradition dating back to 1890, and for more than three decades, Maribor National Hall has continued this tradition. In addition to the social aspect, it has also added a community dimension, as it primarily offers amateur associations and music groups from the city and surrounding areas the opportunity to perform. Thus, a diverse and vibrant musical scene is provided by wind bands, choirs, chamber ensembles, vocal groups, folk singers and musicians, and folklore groups.
From May to September, promenade concerts—accompanied by pleasant gatherings and intergenerational socializing, as well as children’s play and laughter—draw many Maribor residents to this green urban oasis, while enhancing the experience for casual visitors to one of the most beautiful parks in this part of Europe.
For 2026, we are planning 13 concerts, which will take place every sunny Sunday at 10:30 and admission will be free.
The concerts in the park are supported by the City of Maribor.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.
The organizer reserves the right to change the program.
