The Zoran Schmitz Trio operates under the direction of Zoran Schmitz – gypsy jazz trio based in Graz. They perform compositions in the style of gypsy jazz, songs from The Great American Songbook and gypsy and Slavic folk music.

They started out as street musicians, perfecting their expression and repertoire on the streets. It soon became clear, however, that the energy and connection in the band went beyond the confines of street music. Gradually, they began to establish themselves on the Graz jazz scene by performing in local clubs (Miles Jazz Bar, Tube's, Bar8020 ...), while also building their plans for the future.

Their debut album was released in January 2024 Following DjangoOn the album, they paid homage to the tradition of gypsy jazz and, by selecting the most famous songs from this repertoire, presented their vision of this music and laid a quality foundation for the future. They are currently preparing their second album, which will be entirely original.

With great passion, dedication, and love for music, they move forward, towards new opportunities and musical adventures, and with their music they bring joy and magic to audiences wherever they perform.
