Dora Tomori
With her intimate indie rock style, emotional sincerity, and delicate yet haunting melodies, Dora Tomori creates a live concert experience that takes the audience on a journey through nostalgia, reflection, and contemporary singer-songwriter sensibilities.
Dora Tomori, a breakthrough singer-songwriter from Ljubljana, has exposed herself to the Slovenian audience in recent years with her full-length debut. Where No Heartbreak Has Gone (2023), which she thoroughly performed on her home soil – both in private and on larger stages. Songs from the album regularly grace the frequencies of radio stations such as Val 202 and Radio Študent (singles Mosquito Bite (2023) New Religion (2022)).
The musician has also been welcomed abroad – in recent years she has been working in the Netherlands to study music, but she regularly returns home to nurture her creativity. Dora's development from so-called bedroom pop to the broader indie rock sphere echoes the influence of artists such as Anna B Savage, Phoebe Bridgers and Jeff Buckley. The first fruit of her move was a diptych of singles Everything in None Of It (2025). The project was supported by a visual world in the form of two music videos. She supported the double release with her first solo tour in Slovenia in the summer of 2025. Feel Everything, which took her to the famous stages of Minorites, Layer House, the Floating Castle festival, Zorica...
Dora develops new material into the most malleable form possible, full of nostalgia for childhood, combined with the confidence of her first independence in her twenties. In her performances, she conjures up an atmosphere of reflection and emotion in the intimate world she shares with the audience.
She will perform at Lent in tandem with multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and arranger Danijel Bogataj, who will accompany Dora on the violin.
