The Wandering Aviator and The Little Prince
A contemporary street performance of The Little Prince through poetic imagery, stilt walking, and miniature costume worlds brings audiences back to childlike wonder and, through the language of imagination and the heart, opens questions about the world, relationships, and coexistence.
Can beauty, art, poetry, and dreams — when brought into the streets — awaken childlike wonder in each of us and inspire even the smallest change? Can a work of art allow us to see the world again through the filter of childhood, through the eyes of a child who knows that everything in the universe shifts because of details, becoming a small part of a revolution striving for peace and the miracle of human coexistence?
This brand-new performance is a contemporary adaptation of the famous children’s tale The Little Prince. Featuring stilt performers and costumes that are more than costumes — micro-worlds that tell the stories of individual characters — it addresses us in a way most suitable for speaking about life.
Through a language of poetry that is simple, magical, and piercing like children’s questions; that does not seek to prove or explain everything; that is not a language of logic and deduction, but conveys a “deep note” — something that cannot be expressed in words. As you know: “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
