Horizon: Unseen at Tkalka Gallery brings together the works of Croatian artist Nikola Pjevačević and Slovenian artist Katarina Snoj in a dialogue on perception, attention and the instability of the image.

The exhibition reflects on a moment in which images increasingly function as fleeting visual surfaces, while seeing itself becomes shaped by distraction, mediated vision and the conditions through which images emerge. Rather than treating painting as representation, both artists examine the mechanisms of perception itself. Pjevačević develops reduced, almost darkened scenes in charcoal on canvas, while Snoj approaches painting as a membrane or visual interface through works created with oil, spray paint and acrylic on fabric and PVC.

The exhibition is realised in collaboration with the International Student Biennial from Osijek.
