The exhibition presents three Slovenian illustrators — Darka Erdelji, Teja Milavec, and Tamara Rimele — who took part in the international project Liberating Heroes! – Sensory Storytelling Programme in European Public Libraries (2025–2027).

The project connects libraries from Lithuania, Ukraine, Portugal, and Slovenia, and through stories and images opens space for different ways of experiencing, understanding, and creating.

The artists were brought together to co-create the book Help for the Bear and Other Stories. The exhibition offers insight into their diverse illustration worlds — from gentle and playful imagery to expressive visual narratives that speak to both children and adults.

After its first presentation in April across units of the Maribor Library, the exhibition continues its journey through the city, inviting audiences to encounter it in different places and moments — among books, in city squares, festival venues, courtyards, and play spaces.
