As part of a musical talk-concert marking the 180th anniversary of Franz Liszt’s performance in the Knight’s Hall of Maribor Castle, the discussion will focus on the city’s musical culture and the life and creative path of Franz Liszt.

On this occasion, renowned Maribor pianist Prof. Adriana Magdovski will perform a selection from the concert programme Liszt presented in 1846 in the Knight’s Hall.

The discussion will also feature musicologist Dr. Marko Motnik, historian MA Oskar Habjanič, and curator of the musical instrument collection Dr. Valentina Bevc Varl, who will also moderate the talk.
