21.00 – Screening of the film Welcome to Sodom*

Join us for an outdoor film evening, which will open with a discussion about the perception of climate change and the events at the civic level in Maribor. The discussion by Katja Sreš, Ana Lah, Andreja Kutin Ledinek, Katarina Trstenjak and Line Petrović will be followed by a screening of the film Welcome to Sodom, which will take viewers behind the scenes of Europe's largest waste dump in the middle of Africa. Approximately 250.000 tons of used computers, smartphones, printers and other electronic devices arrive here illegally every year.

We are organizing the event as an invitation to reflect on the World Day of Victims of the Climate Crisis, which is celebrated on July 15th.

*The film is 95 minutes long with Slovenian subtitles. Due to the subject matter, the film is suitable for children over 12 years old.
