More than 2,000 participants, a line stretching over one kilometre and one shared goal – setting a Guinness World Record for the world's longest spritzer toast. On Saturday, 8 August 2026, Fontana Vin Vodole, just outside Maribor, will host a one-of-a-kind event celebrating wine, tradition and togetherness.

The programme begins at 9:00 a.m., while the official world record attempt starts at 11:00 a.m., when participants will form one continuous line and raise their glasses simultaneously in accordance with Guinness World Records regulations.

Advance registration is free of charge and mandatory, as all participants will be assigned to designated sectors required for the official record attempt.

Once the official challenge is complete, the celebration continues with local winemakers, delicious food and drinks, live music and a vibrant festival atmosphere in the heart of the vineyards. Every registered participant will receive a special gift and be entered into a prize draw, with the grand prize being a Fontana Vin tasting glass with lifetime unlimited wine tastings.

The event is open to adults aged 18 and over and offers a unique opportunity to help place Maribor and the Styrian wine region on the world record map.
