From 28 to 30 August, join us for an unforgettable creative retreat in the beautiful surroundings of Žiče Charterhouse.

Under the guidance of Rok Komel, you will discover the secrets of traditional pottery, learn the basics of shaping clay on a potter’s wheel, create practical and decorative pieces, and express your creativity through paintings inspired by Žiče Charterhouse.

The three-day workshop is suitable for everyone, regardless of previous experience. You will take your paintings home at the end of the workshop, while your pottery creations will be fired and ready for collection by arrangement. The workshop will be led by Rok Komel, a history professor, ethnologist and potter dedicated to preserving Slovenia’s rich pottery heritage.

• Participation fee: €230 (includes two nights’ accommodation, meals, mentoring, materials, entry to Žiče Charterhouse and an audio-guided tour).
