On Saturday, 5 September 2026, we invite you to Cyclists’ Day in Jarenina!

Registration for the event will be available on the day itself, at the stand next to the museum, from 9.00 am onwards. The event is not competitive in nature, so we will not be timing participants. The start and finish of the route will be at the museum in Jarenina.

There will be two cycling routes of varying difficulty through the Jarenina Valley and along the surrounding paths. The family cycling route will follow the Jarenina cycle path in both directions, first towards Šentilj, then back towards Pernica, finishing in Jarenina. The family route is 17 km long. The ‘Along the Jarenina Cycle Route and Surrounding Trails’ route is slightly longer, at 19 km, and features a few climbs, making it a little more challenging.

Local non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available at the Ovtar Jarenina Tourist Association stand.

There is no admission fee.
