In one city, someone is just waking up. On the other side of the planet, someone else is having lunch. Somewhere else entirely, someone is wandering around, looking for something… More stories, but how are they connected? Or is that precisely the central theme of the performance?
Ferdaman’s Troupe is an adult improvisational theater group, so we’d put on an improvised performance on the theme of networking. First, we’d gather a few suggestions from the audience (for example, a place, a profession, an emotion, a relationship…), write them down on paper, and hang them on a poster, bulletin board, or curtain.
This would be followed by acting out a story in which we’d weave all the suggestions into a coherent whole. We’d also physically connect them with red thread, just like detectives do, so that in the end we’d have a network of suggestions woven into a shared story.
