The Bračko family farm, featuring vineyards, a wine cellar, and a house, is located twenty kilometres northeast of Maribor, in the village of Jakobski Dol, which lies at the heart of the Slovenske Gorice wine-growing region.

From the top of the hill where the farm is located, visitors can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding hills, the Pohorje and Kozjak mountain ranges, and the Austrian Koralpe mountains.

The Bračko family is wholeheartedly devoted to viticulture, and today the fourth generation of winegrowers lives and works on the farm. Their long-standing passion for winemaking is reflected in the fact that their viticultural roots date back to the late 19th century.

The hosts are proud to follow the principles of integrated, environmentally friendly cultivation across their six hectares of vineyards. The vines grow on exceptionally steep slopes at elevations of 320 to 360 metres above sea level. White grape varieties predominate, including Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling, Rhine Riesling, Yellow Muscat, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay, while the red variety Zweigelt accounts for 10% of the plantings.

Their carefully selected wines pair beautifully with traditional homemade dishes, which the hosts are delighted to serve to their visitors. The meals are prepared according to recipes passed down through generations, allowing guests to discover the authentic flavours of the local countryside.

Guests can stay in comfortable twin or quadruple rooms, each named after a fruit, in a beautiful wooden building. The Walnut, Apple, Plum, Pear and Cherry rooms add a special charm to a countryside getaway.
