Since 1932, this family inn has served Styrian dishes with seasonal produce from its own garden.

On Dupleška Road in Maribor, Gostilna Pri Lešniku has been run in the spirit of family hospitality since 1932. The traditional Slovenian inn features a wood-burning stove, dining rooms and a light-filled winter garden. It holds the Gostilna Slovenija designation, recognising its commitment to Slovenian food traditions and local ingredients.

A defining feature is the kitchen and herb garden, where the family grows more than 30 kinds of seasonal fruit and vegetables. Bread is kneaded daily, while pasta, ice cream and desserts are made in-house. Dishes include Styrian mushroom soup, cheese štruklji, buckwheat with porcini mushrooms and Pohorje omelette. The changing seasonal menu is complemented by Styrian and other Slovenian wines.

Families can also spend time at Dežela pri Lešniku, a dedicated children's play area, while adults have access to VITALspa. A motel on the property makes it possible to extend a meal into an overnight stay. The inn also hosts private celebrations and business gatherings.
