Café Q

On Gorkega Street in Maribor, opposite Tabor Sports Hall, Q :: qulto, formerly known as Kavarna Q, combines a café with a casual restaurant. The venue offers more than coffee and desserts, with a varied menu for lunch, dinner and informal gatherings. Chicken dishes are among its distinctive specialities.

The kitchen is particularly known for crispy fried chicken, prepared using a specialised frying method. Chicken also features in wraps, while the menu includes burgers, salads and sandwiches. The team prepares its own bread rolls for sandwiches and selected dishes. This combination makes Qulto a place for both a quick meal and a longer break.

The original Kavarna Q also developed a reputation for desserts made with natural ingredients and homemade ice cream, associated with the Teta Frida pastry range. Today, Qulto continues the broader concept of combining café culture with freshly prepared savoury food.
