Winery Savič

In Rošpoh, among the wine-growing hills north of Maribor, Savič Winery and Wine Tavern brings together local winemaking and traditional farm hospitality. The wine tavern is part of a rural setting shaped by vineyards and the food traditions of the Maribor countryside. Its location offers a change of pace from the city's cafés and restaurants.

The selection includes house wines, apple juice and grape juice, accompanied by bread and homemade desserts. The combination of wines, non-alcoholic drinks and traditional baked goods reflects the character of a Slovenian countryside wine tavern. Rather than an elaborate restaurant menu, the focus is on familiar local products and informal gatherings over food and drink.

The tavern also welcomes private groups and organised gatherings, with a separate larger room available. A stop at Savič can form part of an excursion through Rošpoh and the neighbouring Kamnica area, where vineyards and rural roads lie just outside Maribor.
