Špindler Inn

In the centre of Jurovski Dol in the Slovenske gorice hills, beside the village church and square, Gostilna Špindler has been a family-run inn since 1930. The building was constructed by the Caf family and still houses the restaurant today. Now run by the fourth generation, the inn preserves recipes passed down through the family and the character of a traditional Slovenian country restaurant.

The kitchen focuses on homemade dishes based on grandmothers' recipes. Daily lunches, stews, traditional comfort food and homemade desserts form an important part of the menu. Pizzas and made-to-order dishes add variety to the selection. Daily menus change regularly, with an emphasis on freshly prepared food.

The inn is also a gathering place for family celebrations and traditional Sunday lunches. Private groups can arrange cold platters or hot menus in advance. Its location in the village centre makes it a convenient food stop while exploring the villages and rolling hills of Slovenske gorice.
