On a hill in Komarnica near Cerkvenjak, Breznik Tourist Farm combines traditional food, family winemaking and rural hospitality. What began as a mixed agricultural farm has developed into a family-run hospitality business, preserving the connection between farm produce and the winemaking traditions of Slovenske gorice.
The kitchen serves homemade salami, pork preserved in tünka, cured meats and farmhouse bread, alongside hot dishes such as mushroom soup with buckwheat žganci, roast pork, chicken with mlinci and cottage-cheese štruklji. Traditional desserts include Slovenske gorice gibanica and kvasenica pastry. Meals are accompanied by estate wines, including Chardonnay, Silvaner and Welschriesling, as well as homemade fruit juices.
A highlight is the stone-built wine cellar, where traditional architecture meets modern winemaking. The family introduces its wines through tastings in this distinctive setting. The farm also offers guest accommodation and a children's play area, making it a base for exploring Cerkvenjak and the surrounding vineyard hills.
