In Spodnji Jakobski Dol, among the vineyards of Slovenske gorice, Senekovič Wines continues a family winemaking tradition dating back to the 19th century. Over four generations, the estate developed from four neighbouring winegrowers' farms into one property. Today, the family cultivates almost six hectares of vineyards, with views towards Jakobska Valley, Pohorje, the Koralpe mountains and Slovenske gorice.
The wine selection includes Yellow Muscat, Welschriesling, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Kerner and Pinot Noir, alongside rosé and blends. The range extends to skin-contact wines and sparkling wines. Distinctive bottles include the dry, macerated Old Style and the Cuvée and Cuvée Gold blends. The estate has received awards at regional and international wine competitions, including AWC Vienna.
The winery offers tastings of six wines accompanied by a snack, arranged in advance. Wines can be purchased directly from the estate and at selected wine shops. A visit combines the family's winemaking history with views across the vineyards and hills around Jakobski Dol.
