Jarc Tourist Farm

On a hill in Slatina near Svečina, close to the Austrian border, Jarc Tourist Farm combines family winemaking with rural hospitality. The estate overlooks the vineyards of Svečina, which spread across the surrounding hills. Alongside homemade food and wines, the farm offers accommodation for longer stays in the Slovenske gorice countryside.

The menu includes pork preserved in kible, homemade cured meats, lard spread and pâtés, alongside cottage-cheese spreads and cheeses. Meat products come from animals raised on the farm and fed with home-grown fodder. Vegetarian options and special dietary requirements are also accommodated. Meals are paired with estate-produced white, red and rosé wines. Grape varieties include Traminer, Welschriesling, Riesling, Furmint, Kerner and Ranina. The estate's 2023 Sauvignon holds the regional Naše najboljše (Our Finest) certificate.

The farm offers wine tastings and visits for private groups, as well as rooms overlooking the vineyards. The international Vinotour Nordic walking route passes nearby, and the Kebl Winegrowing Museum is within walking distance. A stay brings together local food, wine and the landscape of Svečina.
