Estate wines, home-grown food and tastings in a cellar more than 200 years old near Svečina.

In Podigrac near the Austrian border, among the hills of Slovenske gorice, Vino Leber is a family winery and excursion farm. Three generations live and work on the estate, continuing its winemaking tradition. A highlight is the vaulted wine cellar more than 200 years old, restored in 2011, alongside a contemporary House of Wine with a dedicated tasting room.

The family grows nine white and three red grape varieties, including Riesling, Welschriesling, Sauvignon, Traminer, Blaufränkisch and Pinot Noir. Beyond fresh still wines, the range includes Muscat, rosé and red sparkling wines, blends and selected oak-aged wines. Temperature-controlled fermentation is part of the cellar's approach.

The farm serves homemade food using its own vegetables, fruit and meat alongside the wines. In summer, the terrace overlooks the vineyards; in winter, meals are served in a traditional room with a tiled stove. Tastings at the House of Wine connect the family's story with regional food and winemaking.
