Family wines, tastings beneath an old ash tree and a winemaking history dating back to 1881.

In Ciringa near Svečina, close to the Austrian border, Valdhuber Čeh Wines is a family vineyard estate whose history began in 1881. That year, Franz Wruss bought a farm devoted mainly to fruit growing. Over the generations, the property developed into a wine estate. Alenka Valdhuber and Robert Čeh took over the family business in 2012.

The vineyards focus on white grape varieties, including Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Muscat Silvaner, Yellow Muscat, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Welschriesling. The family began bottling a wine blend in 2002 and later expanded into varietal wines. The Naše najboljše (Our Finest) regional certificate has been awarded to Lenčka Müller-Thurgau 2023, skin-contact Pinot Gris 2023 and aged Vinjak XO.

A dedicated tasting room provides a setting for sampling the family's wines alongside homemade specialities. In fine weather, tastings and gatherings can also take place beneath an old ash tree at the farm. The experience connects generations of winemaking with the vineyard landscape of Ciringa.
