Styrian wines, farmhouse cooking and guest rooms furnished with wood from former orchard trees.

In Spodnje Hlapje near Jakobski Dol, among the vineyards of Slovenske gorice, Bračko Wines is a family estate whose winemaking history dates to the late 19th century. The fourth generation now continues the tradition. From its hilltop setting, views stretch across the vineyards towards Pohorje, Kozjak and Austria's Koralpe mountains.

The family follows integrated vineyard management practices across six hectares. White varieties dominate, including Welschriesling, Riesling, Sauvignon, Yellow Muscat, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay, alongside red Zweigelt. The wines are generally fresh and fruit-forward, with selected wines also aged in wooden barrels. Tastings are accompanied by farmhouse dishes based on family recipes. Selected bottles carry the regional Naše najboljše (Our Finest) certificate.

The estate also offers guest rooms named after fruit trees. Walnut, apple, plum, pear and cherry rooms feature wood from trees that once grew on the hills now planted with vines. Wine, regional cooking and accommodation come together in the Slovenske gorice countryside.
