Brodnjak Bakery and Patisserie

In Maribor, Keksarna Brodnjak is a family bakery and patisserie with more than 35 years of baking tradition. Building on family recipes, it produces biscuits, pastries and cakes, with an emphasis on handmade products and Slovenian ingredients. Its café and patisserie are on Metelkova Street, while products are also sold at the production site on Zvezna Street.

Signature treats include Linzer-style biscuits, Radvanje biscuits and traditional cookies, alongside potica, cake slices and small pastries. Its walnut crescents received a gold award at a professional Slovenian bakery competition in 2017. Ingredients include flour from local mills and eggs from Styrian farms. Biscuits made with gluten-free flour are also offered, although they may contain traces of gluten.

Made-to-order cakes can be personalised in flavour, shape and decoration. The selection also features raw and vegan desserts and gift boxes of biscuits. Brodnjak products are available through its own outlets and selected retailers across Slovenia.
