On Tyrševa Street in central Maribor, Polek Wine Shop combines a wine bar, wine shop and café. Its compact setting offers a varied selection of bottles from Slovenia and abroad. One of its defining features is the opportunity to sample wine on site and purchase bottles to take home.
The selection includes white, red and rosé wines, sparkling wines and Champagne. A particular focus is Champagne from smaller French producers, while the international range also covers Italian wines and other European wine regions. Spirits, wine accessories and selected delicacies complement the collection, making Polek a place to browse wines and related products.
Polek brings together wine retail and informal wine-bar culture, with wines available by the glass or bottle. Part of the range is also sold through its online shop. Occasional wine-related gatherings and events connect the venue with Maribor's wider food and wine scene.
