LOBIC - Beer & wine

On Slomšek Square in central Maribor, LOBIC – Beer & Wine brings together local craft beer, wine and coffee. Opened in March 2025, the bar is a collaboration between Lobik Brewery, which also produces wine, and winemaker Matic Wines. For the Lobik team, it marked the fulfilment of a long-standing ambition to open a bar in the city centre.

The taps feature lagers, IPAs and NEIPAs, complemented by canned and bottled beers in a variety of styles. The wine selection includes traditional and natural wines, including orange wines, available by the glass or bottle. Another speciality is spritzer on tap, alongside specialty coffee from the local HiKoFi roastery.

LOBIC also hosts wine tastings, themed evenings and DJ events, adding a social programme to its drinks selection. Located near Maribor Cathedral, it provides a place for coffee during a city walk or for meeting over beer and wine in the evening.
