On Vetrinjska Street in central Maribor, La Cantina Center is a pizzeria and pasta restaurant housed in the former Štajerc building. It combines Italian-inspired food with locally brewed beer. A distinctive feature is its spacious green beer garden, a place for lunch or informal gatherings just a short walk from Main Square.
The menu includes pizzas, pasta, salads, starters and desserts. Alongside the regular selection, the restaurant serves changing weekday lunch specials, often exploring different culinary themes. In 2026, these included a French-themed week and dishes inspired by the Adriatic and Mediterranean.
La Cantina Center is closely connected to Maribor Brewery, whose locally produced unfiltered beers can be enjoyed in the beer garden. Guests can also pour their own beer using special self-service taps. The combination of Italian dishes, local brewing traditions and outdoor seating gives the restaurant its character in Maribor's historic centre.
