On Gorkega Street in Maribor, NeverLANd Café & Boutique is a book café created in 2026 by Nastja Krivec and Aleš Bednjač. Inspired by the imaginary world of Peter Pan, its interior combines playful details with books and spaces for gathering. The concept welcomes families, readers and people who enjoy games and creative activities.
One of its main features is a free book exchange with nearly a thousand books. Visitors can read on site, take books home or exchange them for others. The café serves coffee, refreshing drinks and cocktails, while a dedicated children's corner makes it suitable for families. Books are an integral part of the setting rather than simply decoration.
NeverLANd also hosts literary and community events, including book presentations and creative gatherings. In August 2026, it welcomed an anime and board-game event featuring tabletop games, a quiz and screenings. The venue brings together café culture, reading and activities for different generations.
