The 300-Year-Old Wine Cellar stands on Bukovec hill near Zgornja Polskava, at the Skuber winegrowing estate. The stone cellar forms part of a farmhouse dating back around three centuries, preserving a feature of traditional rural architecture. Its hillside setting connects the building with the winegrowing landscape around Slovenska Bistrica.
The cellar hosts tastings of locally produced wines, introducing the area's winemaking traditions. The stone-built space is a distinctive part of the farmhouse, illustrating how wine storage was once incorporated into rural homes and farm buildings. The experience brings together local wines and the architectural heritage of the countryside.
Another highlight is the view from Bukovec hill, extending towards Ptuj Castle, the Haloze hills, Mount Boč and Konjiška gora. The cellar is part of the rural wine tourism offering around Zgornja Polskava, a landscape of vineyards, farmsteads and rolling hills. Visits and tastings can be arranged in advance.
